Stoney Creek's popular Pattern of the Month begins a new four part Snow Dance series with the August 2022 design "New Friends Snowman"
We stitched this 155w x 45h stitch count series, approximately 11" x 3 1/4" on 14ct, on 28ct Vintage Blue Whisper Cashel and have it displayed in a 4" x 12" black frame (Special Order).
We also stitched up the snowman on a 14ct Vintage Blue Whisper banded ornament.
Threads used are Weeks Dye Works 1222 Driftwood (DMC sub 612), Glissen Gloss Rainbow Blending Thread 107 Royal Blue and DMC colors white, 310, 311, 415, 721, 762, 920 and 3799.
The design is embellished (optional) with left facing red bird and white glitter snowflake buttons. If stitching ornament only, one medium glitter snowflake was used along with the left facing red bird.
Banded ornament measures approximately 3 1/2"w x 7"h. Fold the bottom up to a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" size to create a finished ornament that is stitchable on both front and back!
*To finish the ornament we used a small bead of fabric glue to tack down the back.
