Thread Type - Wool 1 ply/2 ply (Crewel)

This collection contains both 1 ply and 2 ply wool.  2 ply is the classic thickness for Jacobean Crewel work.  Slightly thicker than the 1ply wool it can be used together in projects for a different texture.

1 ply wool can also be used to create texture on surface embroidery and Canvaswork.  For more specialty threads look in the Rainbow Gallery Collection.
