Stoney Creek's popular Pattern of the Month continues a four part Halloween series with the May 2022 design "Creepy Tad."
We stitched this 59w x 59h design, approximately 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" on 14ct, on 28ct Vintage Stormy Night Lugana over two threads and show it displayed in a Jack~O~Lantern button frame. We also stitched all four designs of this series together (stitch count 59w x 233h, approximately 4 1/4" x 16 3/4") and have it displayed on a 5" Moon & Stars fabric holder. (listed seperately)
A fat quarter of Lugana will be more than enough to stitch the series together. If stitching on 14ct Vintage Stormy NIght a fat quarter will also work - just be sure to center your stitching as approximately 2'' on the top and bottom will be available for finishing. A 14" x 27" cut of 14ct is also available if finishing space is a concern.
Threads used are Threadworx 11212 Lava Rocks (DMC sub 3799), 11381 Seafoam (DMC sub 996), 11582 Purple Passion (DMC sub 550/552); Creek Colours 404 Tree Frog (DMC sub 3819), 406 Lizard (DMC sub 907); Glissen Gloss Rainbow Blending Threads 116 Iridescent Blue, 309 Olive Green, 701 Violet; and DMC colors B5200, 208, 209, 210, 310, 580, 720, 726, 727, 740, 741, 3078 and 3371.
*If using the Threadworx threads one skein of each will be enough for the complete series. The design is embellished (optional) with flat spider and night glow glitter star buttons.
