The embroidery presented was made on a 12.6 thread Belfast linen canvas from Zweigart in Flax ref. 3609/52 by embroidering with 2 strands on 2 threads of canvas.
This color is not available in Aida, in this case I suggest:
- for the Aïda 6.4, the mocha 300 is too dark, I offer you the Aïda 3009 Vintage country mocha that you can use either on the marbled printed side, or on the unprinted side which corresponds to the 309 in Belfast.
- for the Aida 7, the 309 color may be suitable or the Vintage country mocha 3009 if you like marbling.
- for the Aida 8, the color 309 or the color 306 which seems to me closer to the spirit of the 52 that I chose for this drawing. (Direct link in the list of paintings below)
Concerning the Murano, I suggest you take the color 306 which remains in the spirit of light naturalness (link in the paintings below).
