The lovely bird is a reproduction of an antique needlepoint in my collection, and it makes a wonderful companion for 'Mary Barton's Work'. I hope you enjoy stitching the deep red roses and graceful wings as much as I did.

Stitch count: 127w x 122h. Model stitched 2 over 2 on 32-count 'Soft Ivory' by Zweigart, using a combination of Weeks Dye Works, Gentle Arts & Classic Colorworks overdyes cottons. The chart contains a full DMC conversion - and as many of the colours are used in small amounts, using part DMC and part overdyes will look great.
