Wow! A new year has rolled around again and some of you may have noticed I forgot a December newsletter ... More like super busy! Thank you everyone for that, it has been great getting new projects organized and fun gifts ordered for so many people.
This year will have some new items and brands along with continuations of some changes started in 2025.
Metric Fabric - I will be able to switch all my Zweigart Fabrics to metric cuts this year as I have more options to import this brand directly into Canada from Germany!
Cottage Garden Threads - There are new colours coming soon and fans of the show Bridgerton will be excited to see the new Regency Collection (me too!!) We have updated the website with new photos and some of the smaller colour collections that were missing.
New "Always in Stock" brands are also in the works. Starting with Au ver a Soie's wool that is now 99% in stock.

Switch out your thread colours!
There are no rules to say you need to stitch a design in the colours listed on the pattern. If you are like me, you might like the Spring designs but not so much the PASTEL colours used.
For most patterns you can switch out the lighter shade for a darker one in the colour range. My Collection of DMC threads shows you photos of all the colours and you can browse to see what other options there are.
