Thank you to everyone who had patience during the Canada Post Strike, I am almost back to normal. As of January 6th the USPS is able to ship my supply orders to Canada and I am just waiting for a few orders to arrive out of limbo.

Switch out your thread colours!
There are no rules to say you need to stitch a design in the colours listed on the pattern. If you are like me, you might like the Spring designs but not so much the PASTEL colours used.
For most patterns you can switch out the lighter shade for a darker one in the colour range. My Collection of DMC threads shows you photos of all the colours and you can browse to see what other options there are.
You can also reach out for help as I love kitting new projects and can always help with colour advice.
If switching colours is something you might do for many projects then pick up a shade card with samples of all the threads in Colour families
