Adventures in Embroidery - September's website refresh
Jennifer CareWell it wasn't planned but September has turned into as website refresh month! My original website theme is now discontinued and I have changed to a new layout. I would love to get feedback on what is working and what might need to be reworked.
We have to update some of the product photos as they are very low-res and don't show any details about the items. I have reached out to some of the supplier to get new photos. You are welcome to email me if you notice and I can add it to our list. The Coloured Mono Canvas is at the top of our list!!!
There are new Mystery Bundles on the website and please let me know if you think of any that you would like me to add! There are currently Floss (cotton), Perle (cotton) and Silk (stranded). There will be links below.
October is a great time to start new projects ... well actually, any time is great for a new project! If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you can see my progress on my new start, plus a few older designs I am putting back into rotation.

Embroidery Tip of the Month
Learn new things all the time!
One of the best things you can do as we all get older is to continue to learn new things. You don't need to learn a whole new hobby, just take some time to go in depth into your current passion ... Embroidery!
The Royal School of Needlework in the UK started a "Stitch Bank" where they are cataloguing all different stitches from around the world.
Explore their free website and try out some new stitches. You can browse the STITCH WALL or discover stiches by their USE, STRUCTURE or TECHNIQUE.
If you find it useful in your daily stitching you can purchase the reference book with the top 200 stitches or the new Stitch Card set that includes 50 stitches on individual cards.

Clearout Thread Brand: Presensia by Finca
Due to low demand we are clearing out the current stock of this brand of threads. I will still be able to order any of the colours but there will now be a minimum order of 1/2 a box (6 skeins) for any new colours.
Information from the supplier:
100% long staple Egyptian cotton, mercerized for strength, colorfast, bleach-fast*, and shrink-fast. A total of 321 colors are available for all types of hand stitchery, including embroidery, cross-stitch, needlepoint, petite point, Hardanger, Swedish/huck weaving, and more. Conversion charts for DMC and Anchor floss numbers make substitution easy and accurate to original designs.
