Using the Mardi Gras colours of Purple, Turquoise and Gold this is an exciting study of traditional and string art stitches. A newly configured Overlapping Ray Variation is the centre of this piece. From there a variety of interesting and intricate borders surround the centre to build the design. Stitches featured include Criss Cross Crescents, Crescent Waves, a variety of Jessicas, Ray Variations, Waffles and an interesting 3 colour encroaching border that looks like rope. A variety of metallic threads are used in this piece adding sparkle.
